Description of the Game

ZIEGELBLOK™ is a strategy game that puts you in the role of a real estate developer, constructing buildings and competing with other players for ownership across a growing city.

Each turn, you place a block representing a floor of a building onto the gameboard. You can start a new building or add to an existing one to gain ownership. Your goal is to control the most valuable collection of buildings by the end of the game. But ownership is always shifting—nothing is guaranteed. Use your two uniquely designed building caps strategically: lock down a building to secure control or play them defensively to prevent opponents from increasing the value of their structures.

ZIEGELBLOK™ is easy to learn, supports 2–5 players, and plays in approximately 30–45 minutes. With simple rules suited for ages 8 and up, it offers an accessible yet highly strategic experience. For even more variety, players can expand and customize the game using a wide range of optional add-on pieces. Mix and match to keep every playthrough fresh and challenging. Customize by:

• Expanding the board with additional base components
• Rearranging the 9 base tiles into new layouts such as 1×9, 4×2, and more
• Combining two game sets together and form teams to compete against other teams
• Adding landmark pieces to create new strategic constraints and force players to build around them
• Increasing competition for selected city blocks by placing “2×” tiles that double the value of buildings constructed on them
