Landmarks and their use in play

Landmarks are optional playing pieces that add variety and fun to the game.  These pieces are modeled after actual landmarks, monuments, parks, or unique civic structures such as opera houses, museums, stadiums...etc.

Placement:  Landmarks are placed on the board at the beginning of the game.  They restrict the plot of land they occupy from any further building.  Just like real-life landmarks in a city, players must build around them.

Agreement: The location of the landmark is decided by mutual agreement of the players at the start of the game.

Reminder:  Landmarks can't be placed on streets as they would block traffic. We have enough traffic jams in the world without adding more!

Enjoy playing and creatively working around these iconic landmarks!
